We are pleased to let you know, after many discussions as a staff, Board, Church and learning from our parent information sessions, we will be offering an option to extend your preschoolers day from 3:00-5:30 p.m. This will be offered to ALL students, starting in September 2018!
WHY?
We believe in high quality programs for our students and we believe in continuing to offer you a program of options. We have heard from our current families that you want options for your child/children. Some of you just want your child to stay until 12:00p.m., while others might stay for lunch bunch on a pizza day, or some might stay for enrichment for the afternoon. We have also heard from current and new families that both parents are working either part time or full time and an extended day would be helpful.
HOW WILL IT WORK?
Our program will have the same offerings that we currently offer. This will be an added option for you to choose if you feel you need it. It will be offered as a grouping (not hourly) from 3-5:30p.m. at $12/hour. You will need to pay for the 3-5:30 time frame, but if you need to pick up your child earlier you can. This program will need to have sufficient enrollment to be an option.
Like all our classes/offerings, our loving, experienced, talented staff are what makes our school so special. This extended day option will be staffed with the same requirements as when I am looking for a new teacher in our 9-12 program. We believe strongly in our high quality, educational and loving program.
I will keep you updated as I make decisions about the staffing of our extended day program. I intend to hire a program coordinator who can help create a fun, enriching extended day program. We are lucky to have the nature playground, STEAM room and a lot of outdoor space to offer many fun options for our students throughout the day.

This is a contractual offering for families that are in need of the longer day (until 5:30 p.m.). If we do, you would need to commit to the extended day and fill out a contract.
